Open Question: Does Retin A Micro Make your under eye wrinkles worse, then better?

I started showing some signed of aging under my eyes (something only I noticed), so I decided to battle the fine lines before they got the best of me with prevention methods. After consulting skin care professionals and doing tons of research online I decided to use Retin A Micro 0.04% (since i have combination, sensitive skin). I read everywhere that you should use Retin A all over your face. My face is now very pink and really dry. My under eye fine lines have turned into wrinkles in 3 weeks. I can’t hide them!! Is this just a sign of the drying or will these wrinkles be permanent? I have used the Retin A every other night, sometimes every 3rd night. I started using Skinceuticals CE ferulic and B5 moisture under my normal Cetaphil with spf. Do I just need to be patient or stop treatment completely??
