Resolved Question: Help with turning 30.?

I am so sick of age. I want it totally wiped out except for those under 21 who need limits set. I keep hearing that 30 is old, 30 is middle aged, you are not attractive at 30 anymore. Well I think I keep hearing it anyway. Am I just overreacting?? I always thought 40 was old, not 30. I mean it isn’t very young, but then again I didn’t feel very young when I hit 20. In this day in age why is 30 still feared?? People are living past 100 these days, there are advanced wrinkle creams and treatments to help you look younger?? I mean good grief. Isn’t age just a number, but with some people it seems that it isn’t. Am I right here??I swear there are people out there who act like it is granny time and that is silly. I mean 30 might of been old back in the medeival times when that was the average life expectancy but today?? There are people living past 120 these days and 30 is nursing home time?? Like I said I am sick of age. This age thing has gone too far and it has been used ot judge people, even those who dont even look the age they are. I have noticed a lot more 30-40 year olds who look like they are in their twenties than ever before. Maybe it is because 30-60 years ago people looked old at 30 because most people then smoked and and didn’t take that great of care of themselves, as they also didn’t have the modern conveniences and love of exercise back then?? I don’t know. Am I right here?? Help. I still have a year, 4 months and 8 days before I do turn 30, but this is killing me. Also, wasn’t many famous babes and hunks in their 30s when they hit it big?? Isn’t that still going on today. I go to their boards and websites and nothing like “wow, they look great for 32″ is said. Also, I hate being called sir, that might of been a form of respect back in the day, but people are too age conscious today, it makes them feel old. Luckily I am rarely called that because I look young for my age at the moment but how about later??
How is your sister in the same boat I am if she is turning 30 in January and I have a year, 4 months and 8 days??
